Poetask Butler ("we", "us", or "our") operates a task management service that connects WhatsApp with Google Calendar. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

We collect the following information when you use Poetask Butler: • Name and phone number provided during sign-up • WhatsApp messages you send to our service for the purpose of creating tasks • Google account email address and OAuth tokens used to connect your Google Calendar • Task data (titles, descriptions, dates, locations) derived from your messages
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the Poetask Butler service: • To create and manage calendar events in your Google Calendar on your behalf • To send you task reminders and daily summaries via WhatsApp • To authenticate your account and maintain your session • To improve the accuracy of our natural language processing
4. Google Calendar Data
We access your Google Calendar only to create, update, and delete events on your behalf as instructed through WhatsApp. We do not read, store, or share your existing calendar events. Access is granted via Google OAuth 2.0 and can be revoked at any time through your Google Account settings.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data may be processed by the following sub-processors solely to operate the service: Google (Calendar API), Anthropic or similar AI providers (for natural language parsing of messages). All sub-processors are bound by confidentiality obligations.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Task records are retained to provide you with history and reminders. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage, HTTPS for all communications, and limited access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
