1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Poetask Butler ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Poetask Butler is a personal productivity tool that converts WhatsApp messages into Google Calendar events. The Service provides task creation, smart reminders, and calendar synchronisation through natural language processing.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and have a valid WhatsApp account and Google account to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activity that occurs under your account • Ensuring your WhatsApp and Google accounts remain in good standing • Providing accurate information during registration
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: • Send spam, abusive, or harassing messages • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system • Violate any applicable laws or regulations • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
6. Google Calendar Integration
By connecting your Google account, you authorise Poetask Butler to create, modify, and delete calendar events on your behalf. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings. We are not responsible for any events created, modified, or deleted as a result of your instructions via WhatsApp.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poetask Butler shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed appointments, lost data, or scheduling errors resulting from inaccurate natural language parsing.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, accurate, or meet your specific requirements. Always verify important calendar events independently.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes via WhatsApp or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.
